Client: Municipality of Bra.
Technique: 8 slide projectors, 2 overlapped screens.
Event: Celebration of the beginning of the Third Millennium. The work was projected continuously on the façade of a church in the evening of 31st December 1999.

In December 1999 the culture department of the city of Bra and IMMAGINARE photographic studio realized a Multi-image entitled: “Millennium, events, people, history, music and art from the year 1000 to 2000 ”.
The Multi-image with 8 projectors (3 project a great image and the other 5 act on the central area of the screen) lasts 25 minutes and the most important facts of the last millennium flow on the screen, in particular the events of the twentieth century.
With an accurate music and iconographic search and without text, the audience is involved in the passing of time.
The Multi-image has a great didactical value, and can be used in a interdisciplinary way by history, art, Italian, music teachers and is a unique document in this field.
“Millennium” è has been projected on the 31st of December 1999, all night long, on the side of a church in the city center of Bra and during great events in the spring of 2000... to make the first moves in the new century, without forgetting the past.
